New Manufacturing Equipment Commissioned and Running!

AeroShield is now operating and making larger aerogels on our new vessel, nicknamed “Venus”. This vessel will allow us to make 14’’ x 20’’ samples (required for many window industry standard tests) and could also be used to make aerogels >5 feet long!

A huge shoutout goes to our Lead Process Engineer Zack and R&D Process Engineer Max for designing, specifying, and installing all of the equipment – and commissioning it with a successful batch of aerogels!
